About the event
1:00 program, free. Don Perkins, author of The Barns of Maine, shows the special features of post and beam barns. His book will be for sale. Pre-registration for the program is not required, but it will provide you with an automatic email reminder before the event if you choose to pre-register for the program.
2:00 Barn tour by school bus. Don leads a tour of 5 of Hiram’s historical “Agricultural Cathedrals,” including gems of Thomas Barker, Thomas Spring, John Clemons, General Peleg Wadsworth, and Peleg T. Wadsworth. Tour seats $35 each. Mail check payable to HHS to PO Box 101, Hiram 04041 or pay by card online. Pre-registration for the bus tour is required.
