Faces of Founders: Hiram, Maine the MOVIE, a partnership of Hiram Historical Society and the High School TV 2 Class of SAD55, will be shown Friday May 13, 2022, at the Hiram Arts Center at 8 Hancock Ave at 6:00pm. In this production – unique in the state of Maine - the teacher/moderator presents the context of 15 founders – men, women, children – students follow in costume with photographic backgrounds and portray each settler briefly telling what it was like to live in the nascent settlement 1774-1830, voicing opinions unbound from restraints of the book Faces of Founders: Hiram, Maine. Professional musicians, Hiram residents, perform Hiram music.
