2026, the year the nation celebrates America's 250th, is a good year for American history. September is a good month to reassess and plant your garden. Whaleback Nursery of native plants, Limington, will help you do both - with a slide show "Our Green Roots: plants that shaped the country" followed by a sale of native plants. Great Ossipee Museum of Hiram Historical Society, 20 Historical Ridge, 1:00pm, light refreshments.


Great Ossipee Museum is open the morning of September 12 from 9:30-12:00. Set up is 12:30, program starts at 1:00pm.
