What a winter but the gazebo came through with flying colors. Daffodils are again great performers. Tulips 'Banja luka', marigold-yellow and crimson striped, offered in the Friends of Soldiers Memorial Library bulb sale and planted last fall all came up, plus there are tulip buds ready to open.
The bulb sale is held every other year and 2019 is a year for one! Note the gaps in your garden this spring, and plan to fill them this fall. Buy bulbs or donate to the Garden Angels who plant and maintain the gazebo - beautify your garden and support the library at the same time!
