The Hiram Historical Society calendar for 2020 is available now. It contains twenty buildings that were in Hiram in 1820 and are still here in 2020 to be celebrated for Maine's State Bicentennial. The calendar absorbed a prodigious amount of research and we are pleased with the result. We refer to it as 20-20-20. Some of the buildings may surprise you!
We plan a bus tour next summer of as many buildings as we can fit in so you can see what they look like today - details forthcoming.
The price of the calendar is a bargain at $10. It is available at the Hiram Town Office, Soldiers Memorial Library, Four Corners Store (if it reopens) in Hiram, and Edge of Maine Gallery, Main Street, Brownfield.
Or if you prefer, HHS can mail it to you for an additional $2.00 to cover postage and handling. Send a check payable to Hiram Historical Society in the amount of $12 to Sally Williams, PO Box 105, Hiram 04041.
We hope you like the calendar as much as we do. It will be a lasting illustration of Hiram's rich heritage and will make a great gift, just in time for the holidays.
