Mt Cutler in the news today Portland Press Herald page C7

Updated: Apr 10, 2020

Carey Kish writes "Phew, Finally, Mt. Cutler has been conserved. Now you can hike the 5 miles of trails on 170 scenic acres without worrying about the possibility of development". Praise for Dr. Lowell "Bud" Barnes, who cut the first trail to the ledges in the 1960s, and Dan Hester, who purchased the land, cut more trails, and negotiated ownership by the Town of Hiram. Thank you, all, for this gem, and for the new Ingalls Pond trail announced in Your Weekly Shopping Guide of the last two Wednesdays.
